Every year around December 20th I ask the same question...Can I get one more in? I don't want anyone to be disappointed! I've stayed up all night to get them done before Christmas!

You see, it's not just an income for me. It's tradition. My mother, a war bride from WWII (German Jew and survived!), taught me how to knit. We spent a lot of time together and I am grateful for that. She also taught me that when you knit, it's a part of you going into each stocking.  I hope you enjoy yours.

Two Generations of Knitting Four Generations of Stockings

This mantel holds stockings knit by my mom over 50 years ago, and by me!  What a wonderful sight to see families grow and the stockings grow with them!

Uniqueness

Because each stocking is hand knit as they are ordered, there is always something a little different about each.  Especially the tree stockings, as the ornaments are chosen individually for each one.  And, of course, there's the name!
